Michael is an Underwriting Associate at TrueRate. His responsibilities include managing the underwriting pipeline and determining which financing product/execution would be most favorable for prospective clients. He also oversees the financing process after engagement to facilitate underwriting and closing efforts. His knowledge of agency lending is crucial to the development of the TrueRate online platform.
Prior to joining TrueRate Services LLC, Michael was an Underwriting Associate at Arbor Realty Trust, a top Agency Lender. At Arbor Realty Trust, Michael underwrote and closed over 50MM in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac transactions and lead the underwriting process from engagement to closing. He worked closely with multifamily borrowers, mortgage brokers, third-party vendors, and agency underwriters to produce comprehensive agency loan applications and facilitate closings. Michael is a graduate from Elon University with a BS in International Business & Finance.
